ARC DOWNTOWN UPDATE
Unfortunately tropical storm Fred caused structural damage to the bridge on Resort Drive. For safety reasons, this bridge will be closed until further notice. Please access the club via Regent Park Blvd. and Expo Drive. Regent Park Blvd. is the traffic light just past the Sam’s Club gas area. Follow Regent Park Blvd and then turn left onto Expo Drive (before entering Sam’s parking lot) and follow Expo Drive past the hotel back to Resort Drive. You can access the club by turning right down the hill and turning left into the ARC parking lot.
What Our Members Say
We have been members at several clubs over the years, but I think that I like ARC the most of any we have used. Two AVL locations that make it so convenient for me as I often come up from the south on weekdays, and use the Hendo Rd location in the afternoons… and from home on the weekends use the Crown Plaza location.
The clubs are clean and well appointed. We do not play tennis, so we only have the fitness facility membership. I have never had to wait for a piece of equipment that I wanted to use, even though the place can seem full of people. I usually use the trademills and the weight machines and they are modern and well equipped.
I have not used a personal trainer, but today, I watched a trainer with an elderly gentleman and was very impressed with her patience and care with him.
Dressing areas are clean and very functional. We probably stay put ar ARC.
I am so grateful for the Asheville Racquet Club! I have been able to swim year round, which has been essential piece of well being. The saltwater pool feels luxurious and affordable! The pool atmosphere and culture is friendly and welcoming, and mostly people are respectful of each other’s space and time. Over the past several months they have done their best to adhere to health guidelines while offering us as much as they can. Not sure I would do without them!
Location off of Hendersonville Road-
Very patient and welcoming staff. I take my grandkids for swim lessons here five times a week and they absolutely love the instructors and lifeguards (taught my youngest to swim without struggling.) Very open place for many different kinds of people. Everyone is really nice and willing to help you with anything you need. Definitely the place to go for swim lessons, fitness classes, and tennis. The only thing I wish they had was a hot tub.

Love it here. Kim’s classes are incredible. Get to play some Indoor soccer with my kids and attend a class all in one morning.

ARC has everything for the people who really want to get fit or just continue in their routine. Indoor tennis courts, huge exercise room with every machine possible, yoga room, racquet ball court, soccer field, etc. All under one roof.
